What I liked here is that you could buy anything. Going from America the prices seem very cheap. They are very efficient too! There are lots of people.

I come here for the food. The Huarique's are great for a wide variety of food at ok prices. The kitchen chefs are always friendly.

Such a nice, local and typical market! You can find everything you want from meat, to veggies to snacks! If it's on your way during a walking day in Lima just stop by. It's worth a visit. It's not"cute" or "scenic" but if you're looking for a local experience you'll definitely be satisfied! :)

A very crowded local market for everything you need. Ranging for fruits, meats, vegetables, home accessories, and dairy products. It's very clean for a traditional market and has various options for local and reasonably priced food for breakfast and lunch. They close early (because they open early) so do not come here for dinner.

This market is awesome! Great bargains and a wide variety of products. The hallways are pretty narrow so it will be tight. Make sure you know what you want to buy ahead of time and, as always in these kind of places, be careful with you stuff. If buying meet you’ll need to have some skills to check for freshness. You can also eat here, but beware you may need to build some defenses before going for it.

You can get all you need but it's a little crowded and crazy. I recommend you focus in your shopping because you can find good deals. Dont distract with anything. Personally, I started looking cotton shirts, some souvenirs and Chinese products around Central Market.

We stopped by after visiting the convent of San Francisco. As non-Spanish speaking tourists, we were a little overwhelmed, but this market was very interesting. Very local vibe!
